DJ Tigresa's work is removed after being found guilty of plagiarism (12th March 2006)

After confessing on the Contributor Central board that when she had food poisoning she plagiarised some her work from old guide books, War Doc and CJayC look into it further to see that almost all of her work was plagiarised. Her files of hers was removed a day or two later, with CJayC creating a topic on the General board informing the community of the events. This shook up the contributor community due to the extent of what she did - 269 files in total were removed, she was the most diverse contributor on the site and she had little remorse for her actions. She has since been banned from the site. Below are several links of the event, including topics and her CRP link today and her since delinked profile. Thanks to Devin Morgan and War Doc for contributing topics.

The 10th GameFAQs Site Redesign (11th April 2006)

Just announced the day before, the site undertook a redesign to make it look more like the other CNet sites. Naturally site wide opionins were mainly negative, including those on the FCB boards, including users requesting that they pull down their contributions. Here are a few topics reflecting the general vibe at the time.

Along with the recent site redesign are proposals of pay-for accounts on the site. CJayC informs the FCB that prolific contributors may get these accounts free in the future, and that for now the boards will be advert free. The topic soon becomes one of debating about how the site is turning out.

Both winners of the non-prolific and prolific tournaments face one another in a battle to the death. THayes beat Phoenix 1911 to become this year's tournament champion. Oh and I do realise this is out of chronological order but it makes better sense to slot it after the two tournaments.
