FCB Fun III AIM Chat (2004)
A FAQer chat from what I think is 2004; this takes place over about 3 hours, from 23:30-02:30 GMT.
First FAQ Progress of the Year (1st January 2004)
The FAQ Progress from New Years Day!
6th Prolific FAQers Tournament (1st January 2004 - 26th January 2004)
At the start of the year the 6th Prolific FAQers Tournament begin, ending toward the end of the month. As always the event was hosted by Devin Morgan (with the bracket created by Brian Sulpher), where over 25 days 128 writers compete to be crowned the winner. This time voters had to give reasoning with their votes to get rid of the cheating issue. At the end, Adrenaline SL beat ASchultz to claim her second prolific tournament victory.

SinirothX gets busted for plagiarism. (3rd January 2004)
Siniroth X, once famous for his long and in depth Final Fantasy FAQs, gets caught out plagiarising Split Infinity via putting in semi-intentional false data and wording to get him. Sini's FF FAQs got removed from the site, and he has rarely been seen on the FCB since.

Someone makes their FAQ version 'Cheese', and a topic is made with reactions from writers. It's still the same today, and somewhat paved the way for custom versions for FAQs.

The Fourth NPFWT (24th January 2004 - March 2004)
The fourth non-prolific tournament, this time hosted by Guitarfreak86. The first topic regarding this tournament was today, and included signups and rule topics throughout February and in March, the tournament begin. Suggestions for 7 Older Bounty-Worthy Games (February 2004)

Problems with recently complete FAQs and the new FOTM... (3rd February 2004)
Zoop creates a small fuss about how his recently completed FAQ can't be entered into the new rules FAQ of the Month. CJayC replies and later changes the system. Naturally, Zoop wins the said FOTM.
FAQ Writing Program Suggestions, please! (3rd February 2004)
Masamune3 plans to make an FAQ Writing program and asks fellow writers for suggestions.
Dingo Jellybean overtakes Psycho Penguin in the KB rankings... without even contributing anything new. (4th February 2004)
Steve asks why Dingo overtook him in the KB rankings (hosted by Devin). Dingo had requested a guide not to be counted ages back, but as the KB system was changing this was forgotten and so it was counted.

Contributor Registration Issues (17th February 2004)

djg40, StarFighers76 and Crazyreyn argue with nm14 as he asks CJayC if a bounty deadline can be put back so he can work on the FAQ.
7th Prolific FAQers Tournament (1st April 2004)
Another 128 of the top prolific writers at that time entered to see who was to take the crown this year. In the end, BSulpher and AstroBlue were finalists with BSulpher claiming his second tournament victory with 17 votes to 12.

Regarding Chris MacDonald... (19th May 2004)
On the 17th May 2004, Chris MacDonald, aka Kao Megura passed away. This topic was created two days after by his brother, Charles, passing on the message to the FAQing community, and reaches the 500 post mark. CJayC also put the message on the front page to inform the rest of the site.

The NES FAQ Completion Project (24th May 2004)
Created by ASchultz, the NES FAQ Completion Project aims to have a complete FAQ for every NES title on the site. This is on going to this day, and is on it's fifth topic (which will be added when it's completed). Thanks to Revned for saving the old topic files.
Update - Between February and November 2005, 100 games were covered thanks to this project!

Here is a topic containing a paragraph I used in my UCAS (British Universities) application. I think it worked well for me, so it's a nice guideline I guess.
