Fifth Non-Prolific FAQers Tournament - Round 1, Division 1

Welcome to round one of the the fifth tournament! I apologize because
despite Yami's persistent reminding over the past few days, I have been
incredibly busy and haven't had a chance to finish the bracket off just
yet (it's almost done; it took longer than I thought because I had to
adapt to a 64 person bracket from my 32 person bracket). I'm very, very
sorry, but the rules for the tournament may be found at the site of
last year's bracket:

those rules for your own enjoyment of the tournament. Anyway, as said,
please excuse my sloppiness with the lack of a bracket. It will be done
by tomorrow's round, if it isn't done before I go to sleep this
evening. For a 64 bracket wouldn't you just double it and add an extra on the end for the winner? o.o (Note: did not test this to see if it works), |

Not really because even though all first round divisions still have
seed sums being 65, you have to do a lot of reorganizing (ie. 32 is now
at the end of the bracket as opposed to at the beginning) and it never
occurred to Trace apparently that he still has the bracket from 2006 on

It feels odd now that I'm not eligible for this contest anymore. It was fun getting to the finals last year. I hope sophialeigh can make a deep run. oh ok. This is different from the prolific tournament? There was an
GFAQs archive-like site I went to and let's just say that AIex (1st
seed at the time out of 64) lost in the first round. --- (Survival only the strong can survive) x2, Survival in order to stay alive. It's called Survival, Survival, Survival. |

the time out of 64) lost in the first round. No, I'm just saying in general the higher seeded person has an advantage. This isn't true for every single thing, but saying that there's nothing given to a higher seeded person is a bit off. |
