Got an email from an Anti FAQ Critic :D Hello TripleJump! I am the Anti FAQ Critic. For weeks now our fair community has been plagued by the presence of the evil FAQ Critic. I, rising from the wreckage, will stand and face this wrong-doer. My job is simple. To give FAQers a more fair judgement based on the praiseworthy parts of their guide. Not to mention I have a spellchecker (which the FAQ Critic fears the most). * A nice intro, pretty much covers a welcome to the guide and the plot of the game. * Nice clear section and sub section headers. * A very good idea to cover all 3 difficulty levels separately. * Comprehensive weapons guide Hope to see the finished product, but good work so far :) - The Anti FAQ Critic Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet. --- http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/38449.html |

Looks like there's 2 people that have been contacted by this Anti-FAQ
Critic, I checked my yahoo mail recently and though I had 4 e-mails.
While 2 were the usual bunch one from RacingOne and the other from
Insomniac Games but there were 2 from this Anti-FAQ Critic the first

I remember the FAQ critic e-mail I recieved before I got sick around mid of last week and now that I got better I get this e-mail. Here we go again... Hello DomZ Ninja! I am the Anti FAQ Critic. No doubt you have suffered needlessly at the hands of the FAQ Critic. I, alone will break this menace. We must all be strong in these tough times and withstand such attacks. I will not rest until he is broken it two. I am here to give you praise for your guide, rather than the filth that the FAQ Critic would write. For this reason there will be no marks or grades. * Tables are nice and simple. Easy to use. * Managed the write the guide without the use of the word "****". (had to censor it of course) * Easy objective is under its own section header. How FAQs should be written. * Actually managed to write about the Great Mighty Poo. Something everyone else would have failed at, no doubt, through laughing too much. * Well done for carrying the humour from the game into the guide. * On a more serious note, the information in this guide is rock solid. Honestly, I don't care who it is, but I'm willing to do an investigation to find out. Well, I have the IP of the FAQ Critic. I'm allowed to post it, right? It's possible that it's the same person as the Anti FAQ Critic, so I'd like to see his/her IP as well. I don't know if that's available through forwarding, though. If I can get the IPs of everyone else, I'll be able to narrow it down for who the real Critics are. I'll have to receive more than one email from everyone, though, for unstated reasons. Obviously, the Critcs are viewing this, so we need to be careful how we word things. Note: I left out specific information that might hinder this investigation. |

There should be a "Forward" button. If there isn't, you can press the
"Reply" button and specify a different email address. Other than that,

Considering I did not get one from the FAQ Critic in the first place, this came as a nice surprise. Hello Crazyreyn! The FAQing community is under attack. The deplorable FAQ Critic has in recent weeks taken pot-shots at innocent by-standers. The time has come for this to stop. I, the Anti FAQ Critic take responsibilty for this. I will break his poorly typed and somewhat obscure critiques in half. I will give your guide a more reasonable judgement, focusing on the what makes the guide good. No marks or ratings, these are the nasty work of the FAQ Critic. * Nice format, the section headers break up the text well. * Explaining of the basics has been done well. The items section, characters, controls and kart sections are extremely helpful and very easy to follow. * The descriptions of each track are great and these are aided by maps. Shortcuts included under each track is a great help. * Relevant FAQs rathe some rubbish that you just made up. A very clean and clear guide. I'm quite sure it's Yami from the bolded part. LIES! If I were to send such an email, I'd be more elaborate with it than "Hi PeTeRL50. I mean PeTeRL90." I haven't heard from either of the two critics, nor do I care to. It's
a funny little game they're playing, but really I think they should
spend that time writing FAQs. Drama and pranks don't really have a

I'm on the same grounds as Reyn is, I never got one in the beginning, but here it is. Hello warfreak! I am here to save you from the shotgun, if a little belatedly. I would like to give you a fair critique to save you from the dastardly FAQ Critic. I feel like branching out a bit, so there'll be some suggestions too. Still no grades or rating, these be damaging. * A nice clear ToC, making the guide easy to navigate. * A comprehensive and interesting intro. * You need more effective sub-section headers. ------------ doesn't cut it. * The guide flows nicely, well broken up into ity bity chunks. * A nice "personal" FAQing style. The FAQ doesn't just bark out a load of instructions for the reader to follow. An FAQ written with a great "style". - The Anti FAQ Critic Well, what we are definitely sure about is that they read the boards at the least. --- Defence is the best form of attack, except when the other side is defending. |

Not to mention I have a spellchecker (which the FAQ Critic fears the most). I am the FAQ Critic's nemesis. * Nice ASCII. * Nice clear format. * Great tips section. It can be hard to write for games that aren't "clear-cut" as there is a degree of AI. A short guide, for a short game. Does its job perfectly. - The Anti FAQ Critic He did bold the 'Miss' part, which I found amusing. XD --- Mega Man # =\= Mega Man Battle Network # They are not the same game, so stop referring to them as if they are! |
