http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/contest/comp_index This contains the same links as before (links to find games without FAQs or boxshots) in addition to some new links for reviews, cheats, and screenshots. Hopefully this will help out with more completion projects and it's always nice to have a centralized location for everything. Enjoy! --- Um, not to criticize science or anything, but wouldn't it be easier just to call it "the pink one"? |

Awesome, loving the site updates lately. :) Small request (I think from the last topic as well) - percentages for each count also? --- 55/85 Full Circle | Y.T.W.S.R. | FCB History - http://www.crazyreyn.com/fcbhistory/ |

Only problem is that cheats & codes will never be completed. I've played some games where there are defineately no cheats. --- Diamond Friend Code: Jack 1246 5322 8691 Wake Forest Fan |

1 single Commodore 64 game in the database with a JP release and it has no review or even a screenshot? *clicks* Oh, Rock 'n Bolt. Well, that can be fixed. --- The miracle never happen. |

I think this is a good place as any to drop this. One thing I noticed
when looking at boxshot completion. I decided to look at the Wii for
Europe. What do I find top of the list: Bleach: Shattered Blade So I check the release...Q1 2008. It seems the search is set to games released in the past but all I can say is Q1 2008 certainly aint the past. Bit of an irritating glitch that. |

I've got a 22% share on Commodore 64 reviews. Mmm, been slacking - back before the games database for it was inflated (initially it was user submissions only, then overnight some thousand games got dumped in from what I imagine may have been the GameSpot db) it was still viable to count manually and I had like a 35% share then. Need to start writing again. --- The miracle never happen. |

"I'm always for these Completion Project listing, but how come the
numbers don't add up correctly? I mean I figure "All" would mean, all

| Oh yes, ladies and gentlemen, Sash singlehandedly
undertook and finished the Commodore 64 completion project for
screenshots, Japanese releases. This stunning achievement took an

Total amount of games for that system. Don't simply do NA + EU + J,
they are often cross-released and/or include regions like SA. This needs a good and dilligent administrator. I also found that the gamespot screenshots are included for the screenshot completion project, not only reader screenshots. The most obvious example will be Xbox/Xbox360. |
| Sashanan | Posted 9/14/2007 5:52:10 AM | message detail |
| I guess it makes sense from a "there are
screenshots either way" perspective - if GameSpot already contributes a
hundred, there's less of a need for readers to add #101. Still, ideally
you'd have three categories: no screenshots at all, no reader
screenshots, and "done". --- The miracle never happen. |
| magic knight | Posted 9/14/2007 6:29:51 AM | message detail |
|
O.K. What I mean is: For example Xbox has 935/1075 screenshots completed. This means 935 Xbox games have already had screenshots, either from gamespot OR gamefaqs. |
| Sashanan | Posted 9/14/2007 6:45:07 AM | message detail |
| Yeah, I know. What I figure is that the 140 games
that have no screenshots from anybody would be the most interesting to
submit for - once that's done people may still be interested in getting
some reader shots up for the games that have GameSpot screenshots only
(however many of those 935 those are), and for that it'd be nice to
have a third counter that does distinguish between where the
screenshots have come from. --- The miracle never happen. |

Yay I finished off the Nuon boxshots. There might be some missing but the hardware is ~10 DVD players so there is no way to submit that. Has anyone tried feedback like "there is no real boxshot" to get it removed from the count? |
| magic knight | Posted 9/29/2007 4:06:34 AM | message detail |
| ^Yes, you may be true since I don't even know what Nuon is, but how do I do the feedback? |
| odino | Posted 10/2/2007 1:48:25 PM | message detail |
|
Nuon is a DVD-player based game system. It is available on nearly a
dozen DVD players therefore no real boxshot can be taken of the
hardware. Feedback is here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/feedback/ In the future there could be a data update option in place where one can tick a box that says "no box" - maybe that is worth making a feedback ticket for ;) |
| magic knight | Posted 10/4/2007 10:48:41 PM | message detail |
|
Huh? But the boxshot completion written: Nuon 8/10 completed (all). There must be some people can find it (somehow). |

| Whoah, just noticed that the Pippin isn't on there. I've got a few Pippin games that I could FAQ. I'm surprised, I know it was a short lived system but it was unique and had it's own style. |
