The old topic purged yesterday I guess. :( The original topic was mde by MegamanX. Anyways, the point of this project is to get a completed guide for every game that does not have one for the Gameboy Mono and Gameboy Color. The website with all the incompled and completed guides is right here: http://faqs.retronintendo.com/ Just pick a game from the list of incompleted games and your name will be put next to that game that has no FAQs. Make sure you specify what system the game is for. Once you complete a guide, it will be added to the completed game list. This project so far has produced 29 completed guides. I am currently working on Space Invaders for the GB mono. --- "Bob, wheres yo mind at?" - Mark Wilkins from Resident Evil Outbreak Join Mario Party Fans today! *LINK IN QUOTE* |

| When I know how to solve the puzzles :P The real tower was pretty easy and most floors where identical to the NES version but the alternative one is not so straightfoward. I've tried Floor 1 a few times but so far no luck. |

| I have stopped working on my Tom and Jerry FAQ.
I'm currently caught up in another FAQ and don't have much motivation
for anything else. I'll repost when I restart the guide, but it will
probobly be a while. --- Currently Playing: Excite Truck, Monkey Ball:BB Wake Forest Football 11-3 {End of Season} |

Due to school, I've also temporarily stopped working on Inspector
Gadget: Operation Madkactus. I'll probably get back to it some point,
but meanwhile, there's a half-circle FAQ on it up. --- Mega Man # =\= Mega Man Battle Network # They are not the same game, so stop referring to them as if they are! |

| As childish as it sounds, I'll take 'Sesame Street: Elmo's 123s' seeing as it's really easy to FAQ and I don't think anyone else would step up to the task and do it. |

| Yeah, it's pretty much the same except with numbers rather than letters. I noticed it's also out for the NES, which has a guide, but I musn't look at it until I'm done. |

Oh, and also, sign me up for NHL Blades of Steel (GBC). I just started a guide for it (until I get up the patience to get past a certain point in Small Soldiers and continue with my guide), and in the past twenty minutes I have a controls section, and two teams in the roster section. Which is taking a serious toll on my eyesight, trying to read the stats for each player... --- Currently Playing: Small Soldiers, NHL Blades of Steel |

I'm going to restart that almost complete Noddy and the Birthday Party
(GBC) FAQ that I'd almost completed and had just about ready to submit
when my PC died and I lost the lot (AAAAAARGH) ages ago. This time I'll
be submitting it every single time I get anything done on it at all,
regardless of what kind of position it's in. Let this be a lesson to anyone who doesn't back up their stuff frequently. >_< --- You love it. The user with bite. |

I was writing an FAQ for that as well, although I'll maybe just scrap it now seeing as you're doing one. (Maybe there was something wrong with the emulator, but for some reason, I couldn't get past the level where you're on the train. Any tips? |
| lisanne | Posted 2/19/2007 2:38:53 AM | message detail |
| Hang on, you're doing one? Since I lost mine
completely when my PC died, how about since you're already doing it,
you just cover this one? :) As for the level with the train, what difficulty are you on? You actually need to jump from car to car towards the front of the train. Keep moving forwards and eventually you'll reach it, but on the hard difficulty it can get a little tricky to reach all the streamers at times, because they can come at you pretty fast. --- You love it. The user with bite. |
| bodo_parkour | Posted 2/19/2007 5:00:46 PM | message detail |
| Yeah, I reached the front of the train, yet nothing happened. Maybe I did something wrong : ( |

I completed Knight's Quest in part
because I remembered version 1.0 of this topic and someone putting the
game aside. Maybe other people have some FAQs they can peel off. There
have to be some simple games out there to tackle & maybe we can
build to bigger ones. --- My glasses! Without them, I'm helpless! |

| I signed up to write a guide for Small Soldiers for the GB, but I am having a hell of a time getting through some parts of this game, and not being able to beat it makes writing a guide for it, well, impossible. |

Wow, good job with the new FAQs. That woul be FAQ number two that was completed since I made this topic. -- Ovenman: Why is your NHL Blades of Steel a skeleton FAQ? Did you make it that way or did the admin change it to that way, Also I sort of gave up on Space Invaders. I will however like to take Shrek: Fairytale Freakdown for the GBC. I've linked my NES Hook guide to the GameBoy version when I noticed it
is the same game without color. It might be a good idea for authors to
check if they can link more guides this way. And I don't know what kind of changes CJay will do the GameBoy lists, but I always find entries requiring fixes. Meaning, one day when you kick-start this project you might want to re-dump those incomplete lists. |

Here is the current stats posted for the GB and GBC posted in the "FAQ stats completion" topic. Game Boy - 1031 Games, 228 Complete (22.11%) Game Boy Color - 936 Games, 172 Complete (18.38%) This project has so much potential, but neverthless it has produced a good amount of FAQs. Anyways, my Shrek: Fairytale Freakdown FAQ is still a skeleton.
