Since I was curious, I tabulated all my FAQs in order of submission

And it is really telling to see how the overall number of FAQs trails
off with each year, yet the size of FAQs increases on average. If I was to do mine by year, it would probably be like 6,4,3,1,1 or
something similar. And yeah, size ever increasing until Baten Kaitos
this year... which would have been much larger if I'd gotten off my ass
and included the magnus list I wanted to write. Someday... --- ~Karpah~ What do girls do during sex, anyways. They just lay there and moan a lot! |

Probably manually going through each guide's version history and noting
down the date of submission. That's pretty interesting, and you really

J&D:TPL - 1/15/02 RBION!TROML - 8/9/02 BK - August or September '02 SMS - 12/16/02 TIM3 - 1/10/03 BT - 8/11/03 Runaway - 5/29/05 These are only full FAQs. I have images, but those are usually the work of one day. This is also the day I realize there's a FAQ I haven't worked on in two years that I started over three years ago now. That's discouraging. --- No matter what they say, or what threats they make, or wars they start, always, always, always, MAKE 7UP YOURS!! |

Maybe it's just lack of motivation. And to everyone saying you have no time to write. That's bullcrap, you are not really up to it. You don't want to. You feel forced. Whatever. But there is lots of time if you really want. If you don't want, that's okay, but don't tell everyone (inlcuding yourself) you have no time. Motivated again? good! --- I don't care who your dad is! Yeah I was tired on second half of that list, so some mistakes are in
there. As for lack of motivation, you can find a direct correlation of
where I started to do freelancing for IGN and my drop off of freebie
writings. SOme lack of motivation does creep in after a few years
though, luckily my drop has been minimal overall. As for the multiple FAQs all close together, I often follow a big project with a bunch of shorter files... odd but it is how I go most of the time. --- 72 FAQs for games never covered at www.GameFAQs.com. DIVISION 6: WORD |
