http://www.gamefaqs.com/contribute/submit_box.php Game Box Image Submission Guidelines * GameFAQs accepts scans or high-quality photographs of game boxes. The front of the box is the most valuable shot, followed by the back; spine and top flap images are also accepted. * Submissions must be free of any watermarks or unnecessary manipulations; no marked or altered images will be accepted. * The maximum displayed width of an image is 640 pixels; images larger than that will be shrunk to that size. * Existing images will only be replaced if the new submission is of much higher quality; for the most part, there is no need to replace what's already posted. * If the game release you have images for isn't listed, submit the game data first, then submit images once it's posted. * Start Slowly! If you submit hundreds of images at once, but you've done something wrong that causes them to be unacceptable, then it's not going to be good for anyone. Start off with just one or two submissions, then increase slowly as we both get the hang of it. * Box scans/shots are considered Fair Use of copyrighted material; you will be credited for your submission, but you cannot request submitted images be removed. Nothing really, but that's not really the point. The site wants HIGH
QUALITY scans and those are often watermarked, e.g. MobyGames. I submitted a few different styles to see what CJay is looking for. If Amazon pics are really good enough then I'll be surprised, but those are never as good as some of the ones already listed. |
