Fourth Annual Non-Prolific Writers Tournament: Semi-Finals

Wow, um, well, I didn't expect even one shut out this late in the game,
much less two. So those were much less exciting than the match before,
but here are the winners: 7 - Da Hui d. 11 - Relle 9-0 8 - AstroBlue d. 12 - WLau 9-0 So that was entertaining. But, now we're at the semi-finals. If those two could pull off shutouts, maybe their match against each other will be more interesting. To say nothing against the current master of shut-outs versus the number confused writing genius. It gets down to the wire here as we eliminate two more writers. 20 - A Darkstar Ripclaw 8 - AstroBlue It's hard to vote against PeterL50 because I'm a big fan of his work, but I felt that A Darkstar Ripclaw had more attractive formatting and was about equal in terms of descriptions. Both are a huge service to the site with quality content, so formatting won my vote there. I have no comments on my other choice, because I'm evil. ABSTAIN (It's tempting to vote for the dark horse here just because
he's the damn freaking dark horse, but since they are pretty evenly
matched, I'll leave it abstained and make it more tense for any
observers) Da Hui (While AstroBlue is still very very good, his format has aged slightly (although not by much, admittedly) and Da Hui is the god of driving games; he still has a decent enough range of other games than driving games, and has managed to eliminate a lot of FAQless crap games. That, and his format and content are also good) |
