I personally find it quite sad that CJayC has to put a note like that on the contribution removal page. What does it say about the maturity of the users here? They're willing to "take their balls and go home" because text is now displayed slightly differently from how it used to be? Who gives a flying ****? Even if you hate it, what the hell is the point of removing your work?

IMO, I think he should encourage users who dislike the site design to remove content. Those are clearly the less mature, less intelligent, and probably younger contributors anyway. Odds are that their work isn't very good, so it probably won't be missed. Might even help clean up the site a bit.

At least the FAQs don't have ads. Until THAT happens, I don't see how you can possibly justify pulling your work over this. How lame.

I believe that they pull their work as a kind of "strike". No matter how much advertising there is, GameFAQs cannot run without FAQs. When the FAQs dissapear, so do the users, so do the ads, and so do CJayC's paychecks. At that point, he has to do what the users want.

However, unless there is a real wide-scale FAQ pulling, it won't have any effect.

Yeah, the new layout definitely is... different. I guess I can get used to it though. I just hope CJayC knows exactly where he's going with this overhaul though. There's bound to be some consequences.

I must be the only person that could care less about the changes. Though an option to increase the width of the new design would be nice. It just looks bad on a 1280x1024 display.
