FAQ Plans: April 2006

Again, March was another dry month for FAQing if I can just find a
game. With Class NES: SMB being rare as it is, I'll be FAQless for a
while, except for my Master Levels secrets section.
My FAQ plans for April is to finish my Master Levels secrets section. I'll start it when I get back up to Windows XP and get 1 GB of RAM, as I am running on 2000. Otherwise, I'll be empty again. I just want to get to that 4 MB mark in the future.
So, what are your April FAQ plans?

As I'm off university I hopefully have the motivation to do a few guides.

Right now, Digital Devil Saga 2 is my current project. Hella fun game too.
I'm hoping to replay through Shadow Hearts: From the New World after I'm finished with Digital Devil Saga 2 and finish my guide up for that.
Then I plan on picking up Atelier Iris 2 if I get the money by then and then maybe write a guide for that.

Your Final Fantasy VII hatemail makes me stronger.
They also make me giggle.

I've been working off and on (due to class load) on a Final Fantasy IV
Advance guide, it's up to around 400k in (SPOILERS) the second time
through the Babel Tower with almost all appendix material done. I still
have a long way to go on this despite being close to the end, a few
dungeons and the extra material.
I'm enjoying that so far, writing for an RPG is a bit of a change from all the shmups I tend to gravitate towards but it's a game I've played through enough times on the SNES that a lot of it comes natural.
Densetsu No Stafy 4 is being released April 19. Unfortunately, I don't have a DS to import it with. I wouldn't mind getting a guide up for it eventually since I've done one for games 1 and 3, but we'll see. I might start a Densetsu no Stafy 2 guide this month after FFIVa as my next bigger project. I was going to do it back in November but I saw someone on that game's board was making one so I did the third in an act of grace but I'm kind of getting tired of waiting.
March wasn't great for me. I got Gyruss (NES) up and that's about it. With Finals dominating half of April, I might not even get anything up again.

If I don't finish the last two worlds on my Rainbow Islands FAQ in the next two days, I'll finish it in early April. If I can, I'll cross-link it to the Sega Master System version.
Then my only unfinished project will be the last four levels maps in The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Might be a while for those, because my Photoshop trial ran out. ._. Whenever I save the images in Microsoft Paint, they become huge in file size.
I might do a FAQ for some obscure late '80s PC game I can find, not sure yet. Other than that, I'll just be working on my text-based C++ RPG. Currently untitled.

When sign makers go on strike, is anything written on their signs?

Breath Of Fire will definitely be finished this month.
After that, maybe I'll write a guide for XIII. Maple Story is still killing the rest of my time though. =P

Finish the four FAQs I have in the works, and maybe open up a Super Mario 64 DS and a Harry Potter project...

As always, I say what I have planned, but it never goes according to
that. But I plan on for the first half, submissions for Power Rangers
Dino Thunder for the GBA, which includes both maps and a written FAQ.
Also want to make maps for Battle Of Olympus (I will do this!) and
hopefully I can finish Resident Evil 3 maps. Knowing me, I'll probably
get side tracked and work on something else. :P

Finish up Chrono Trigger for sure. Then, knowing my obsession with FAQ
writing, I'll probably sneak in another FAQ or two before April is over.

I didn't finish any faqs in March because of school. I had finals. Then
I've been away from my own computer for Spring Break. That computer is
the only one where the faq files are saved. I knew I wouldn't be able
to work on them while with my family.

I have got some time off coming up, so hopefully I can do one or two guides. Not sure what games yet. Possibly PSP, or PS2.

In terms of new games, I'll be writing for Tomb Raider Legend near the
start of the month, and providing I have enough RAM to run it, Longest
Journey: Dreamfall toward the end of the month.
As for the oldies, I'm about quarter of the way through Earthbound so I'll be working on submitting that hopefully sometime in April. I doubt Super Mario World will be completed in April as I'm working on the same level of detail as my SMW2 guide. And I also intend to submit King's Quest IV (which is nearly finished now; just a couple of lists to go) and a completely revised Leisure Suit Larry 1 guide.
