You know, it's almost getting to the point that all the new submissions should be checked for plagiarism prior to posting. Which is bad considering there isn't the staff to do that, there isn't a feasible way to GET the staff to do that, and it would slow the posting of new guides to a crawl. And there's no good reason it should have to be done in the first place.

I am not an expert, but I believe that under this situation, those scans would be considered to be fair use.

i really can't be bothered making an international phone call. I say that if you want to look for a plargarist, you should check the profolics, and look for those who have either contribued 25 guides or more or 2.5 mbs +. Because its them who tend to get their guides done fast. I've got 1.1mb to my count over 1 and a bit years, which isn't much compared to these faqing "experts". And no, i don't copy work, because if I were to copy a prima or brady guide, that would involved alot of typing and its too boring, so i placed stupid comments along the way :)

Plagiarism is completely unacceptable. So I am glad someone spotted it was copied. Not that I am the most avid FAQ writer in existence, and will probably be told I am not relevant to the large universe that is star wars.
