Yeah, I'd have to agree with KK. It's a hobby, and really the greatest satisfaction comes from sharing your views on a game and helping people. And that's not to say the prestige some of you have is a bad thing, it's just not something to aspire to, to the point become dishonest about it.

Judging by the intent of what she did, and the base insult in that link Brian posted, there's definitely no remorse for the act. It doesn't even seem like there's disappointment in losing the guides - more so the reputation, and just being pissed off that she was caught. More over, it just seems she's indifferent to the whole thing - there is no moral consequence here. Just analogies and excuses.

What makes it worse is that I do not believe she ever won any contests of any sort, or made a profit off of the guides. If you're going to dedicate some portion of your soul to copyright violations, at least do it for a profit.

Doing it for social approval is like streaking naked in a stadium without the "Golden Casino . net" advertisement stamped on your back.

Wow, this is big. I feel good that she was caught and brought down.

You know, I always thought there was something odd about her guides, aside from the fact that they're all so short. Something about the writing style that I didn't like. I just kind of passed it off that it was her own style though, and plagiarism never even crossed my mind.

What a horrible person. You have to be pretty sad to go to THIS LENGTH just to achieve internet quasi-fame.

I never really liked her stuff but was impressed just by the quantity. The quality was never that good, and now it turns out that it never even was hers, that's just mean. I don't like witchhunts amongst peers, but as I'm not a plagiarist she's not a peer anymore, but a shame for all honest and hard working faq writers.
