Are you going to autograph your FAQs and sell them on eBay now that
you're mixed between B2K and My Chemical Romance on MTV's most wanted
charts?
Good job. Although if they wanted a real expert, they would've came knocking on my door. I guess you just got lucky that they didn.... I turned them down on the offer because they didn't offer me $1000 plus health insurance for the interview. Yeah, that's it.

I did another interview recently, with The Washington Post, and they
actually printed on the front page of the business section. They sent
me a hard copy, but it's on their site as well :P

The problem with seeing Alex's name in print is that every time I read
it, I interchange the last two letters of his first name all the time,
and keep going "WTF? The former executive director of the NHL Player's
Association is an FAQer?" before I backtrack and reread.

The author of the WP article about Alex gets off on the wrong foot with me, though.
It always happens. One minute, you're throwing a pair of swords around, killing monsters in a blood-tastic frenzy -- the next minute, the monsters are all dead and you're stuck in a room in front of some gaudy locked door, confused and starting to feel like an idiot as the adrenaline wears off.
Maybe anybody still playing video games in his thirties should feel like an idiot, but that's another column.
Perhaps they should make a point of having video game-related articles written only by people who can understand it as a hobby and not write it off as something that apparently only youngsters are permitted to do. Do you let somebody who despises sports do that section?

Hmm, indeed, that's pretty cheap. It's asking the reader not take the article seriously.
Beside that point, good job on the articles.

It was kind of stupid, but still I'm pretty sure the guy who talked to
me for that is in his thirties, and he was just making a jab at
himself. The last thing he said when he emailed me after it was printed
was to say thanks, and that he was was heading off on vacation to
finally get some good gaming done.

A I e x has already stated that he has little need for sleep, gets no
more than six hours of sleep on weekends, hasn't taken a nap since he
was in the womb, and considers it to be a waste of time. So I doubt it.
And hey, why sleep when you can FAQ? ;)

I'd probably start FAQing all the time if my wife would just let me.
I really need to get back to work on my FAQ for Wild Arms: Alter Code F, and one of these days I will!

Hah, he sounds like me.
I get seven hours sleep on school nights, and on friday-sunday, I only get around six hours per night...
And I've never taken a nap in my life.....
Maybe I should start FAQing more...
