FAQ Plans: February 2006
From: peach freak

January was a bad FAQing month for me. Finals got in the way, I had
less time than usual, and so forth. I had the motivation to FAQ, but I
had nothing to FAQ. I have been looking through stores to find Classic
NES Series: Super Mario Bros. and I have still had no luck finding it.
But when I do, either if it's this month or any time in the future, I
will begin FAQing it. Once it's complete, then I will also be prolific
in complete FAQs.
What are your FAQing plans for February 2006?

I just squeezed out two FAQs in January (one in the very beginning and
the other in the very end). Last month was also a bad FAQing month for
me.
I'm not sure what I want to do in February overall, but I definitely plan on finishing Baten Kaitos in this month. Maybe even FFIV Advance, but I'm not counting on it.

If you can't see Chuck Norris, you may be only seconds away from death.

January was bad for me as well. I managed to produce an indepth guide,
and started work on a walkthrough for one of the xbox live arcade games
on the 360, but I haven't had the energy to work on it for a while.
Hopefully I'll be able to complete that guide, and another walkthrough for another one of the xbox live arcade games. There's nothing else coming out for quite a while that I'm really interested in writing for.

January and Decemeber I produced no guides, exams then Christmas took
away any bit of motivation I had. It's like, why write a guide when I
can spend time with my brothers? I don't regret that decision.
However, I'm ready to start so I hope to get a few things done this February. I want to FAQ Stafi 2, but I've been aiting on someone to finish theirs (This is why I wrote the third guide and not the second) - I'm in no hurry to write it but I _do_ want to have the trilogy under my belt sometime soon :P And the fourth game if I can get a hold of it.
There are a few Turbo CD, GBA, Arcade, and Game Boy games I've been thinking about - besides the planned NES and SMS projects. We'll see if any come to fruition, I may start on a Game Boy project tomorrow just to get myself in the mood.

I got three complete FAQs done during January, albeit small ones.
So, in February I move on to bigger and better things. I'm getting a TV adapter for my computer some time in the next week, and assuming I ever get the time I'll be FAQing RE4 for the PS2, since we're currently lacking in decent non-GC ports.

I got nothing done in January, and don't plan on doing anything this month.
I'll most likely start a project next month when the game gets released.

Once I get feeling better, I wanna get back into Resident Evil 3 maps.
And I just picked up SSBM and was thinking about an In-Depth Adventure
Mode FAQ (mostly because Adventure Mode is my favorite mode). Deadly
Towers is still on my list of things to do as well. But with me being
sick I haven't really focused on anything.

My Dutch version for a bounty game is finished, I'll spend this week
translating it to English to fill the bounty. Then I'll work on Genji:
Dawn Of The Samurai on PS2.

I started FAQing last month, and I managed to churn out two FAQ's. This month I'm wanting to complete a pretty big NBA 2K6 FAQ.

Wow January was a horrible FAQing month for me. I wrote a total of only
130 KB. However, I had a week of mid-terms, and also has other various
interruptions. I hope to FAQ more in Feb. especially with a week
vacation coming up in about two weeks. I really want to finish WWE Day of Reckoning 2 which has taken me a longer time than I thought with the walkthrough added in.
After I finish it, I want to finish writing Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green items which should only take a weekend or so.
Once that's finished, I'll be looking to start a new guide. I've wanted to do NBA Street for a long time, so that's what I'll be looking toward.
Also, I've added Harry Potter 4 to my FAQing list, although it is behind about 4 other projects floating around in my head.

Life keeps getting in the way of FAQing. So sad. I need to finish
Herc's Adventures before the bounty deadline (the extended one - thanks
Ceej!) passes. After that, I think I'll do Grid Runner or Floating
Runner. Yes, my choice is between 2 crappy games with 'runner' in the
title (are there any good ones? Lode Runner, I guess. Definitely not
Portal Runner). Also making small updates to older guides, mostly just
fixing typos/grammatical errors.
