I don't have the CRPs attached yet, but feel free to track down some of the authors' work.

I'll have them by tomorrow. Why post it now? So you guys can tell me how I effed up, and so you'll know who you're facing.

Because it does you so much good.

By the way, if anyone wants to help compile the CRPs...(hint hint)

Heh, I'm quite surprised to be seeded #1. Not that I'll win though; Division 4 has got some REAL heavy weights (black hole sun, MTruitt, Phoenix 1911, AlaskaFox, Deflux, GuitarFreak86, MHulbert, MTincher) ... not to mention Dalez, Merca, falsehead etc elsewhere. Man, this tourney is gonna rock!

BostonFuse51: I think something like this might help me get my motivation back indeed. Mario & Luigi is coming along very slowly, so I might update the two Shenmues over the next month to get back into it. =)

You were seeded #1 by a clear margin (you had eight nominations; your closest opponents had five).

Quan: Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

The other thing, for those who want to pitch in, is this. It's relatively easy to post a match. All you do is tally the votes, post the next match (which you can discern because it's logical), and you're done. So what I'm looking for are people who can be my backups. The principle being that the matches will go up, even if something happens.

The concept behind this failsafe is that, if the match isn't posted by 5:30, a backup (this is where one of the predetermined people who have yet to be determined come in) can post at 5:30. If that person fails, then a backup can post at 6:00.

Muddy: Don't worry about it. I'm uber sorry.

As far as I'm concerned -- and I'm in the minority on this -- the point of the tournament is not to determine who the best writer is. In fact, I pity the person who wins, because, in an ideal world, they would not have as many good comments on how to improve (of course, few people leave comments anyway).

But regardless, it does let you see who is considered good, and you can compare your writing style.

So dun worry about getting pwned.
