No, I don't want to host another failing tournament, but I just wonder if people are interested in having a tournament for those not in the top 64 (Non Prolifics and Prolifics).

To be honest, I am getting bored of seeing the same people face off against each other for the last 2 years, and I want to get accustomed to different author's work.

But, I am not here to bash anything either. My main concern is whether you guys want to have this tournament, and if anyone is interesested in organizing this (we could have a team, so we can actually FINISH it) please post here.

Crazyreyn - Maybe a little sooner than that...considering the boards are really boring lately. Not to mention, FAQers seem to be dwindling lately. I would like to get something more aspiring started sooner. But, Devin's Tourney won't last very long, consdiering it's only 64 people. I think we could get this off sometime in August.

How many tournaments have you created, had sign-ups for, started, and not completed? I believe the last one made it all the way to the first day of voting before you chucked it in.

This isn't true. BTB has held two non-prolific tournaments to completion since then. Neither were well run, however. The first had only 16 entrants and the second took about 4 months to finish. Still, this is far more success than anything else that has been attempted, including all of NM14's pathetic tournament attempts. He should be disallowed from running anything at this point.

1. This is the FAQ social board. My contributor page clearly shows that I have written FAQs. Even if I hadn't, I don't see where it says FAQs are a requirement to be a poster. This is a social board, open to anyone on GameFAQs. I have as much right to be here as you or anyone else. Get over it.

2. You call me hypocritical and then you have the nerve to ask what I contribute to this board? I can tell you what I do not contribute:

• Bandwagon posts designed to give me attention
• Tournaments that I start and never follow through with
• Posts that prove me to be an uninformed 14 year old
• Posts where I claim I am the best gamer on this board at Nintendo
• BS lies about how good I do in school at my young age so that people will respect me
• Lame comebacks that non one can ever take seriously
• Topics saying how cool I am because I am prolific and other users are not
• Topics begging to write guides for IGN
• Posts that no one on this board or any can ever read and take seriously.

All these things are contributed by you, kid. If that's what you consider a "contribution," I will gladly never contribute to this board. You're doing a good enough job for the two of us.

If you want to be respected, this is not the way to do it. Oh, BTW, throwing around who writes how many KB or who does what does not add to your credibility. If this were the case, then anybody who has written more then you should be the authoritative voice.

The above is just food for thought, take it or leave it. If you are half as smart as you say you are, then you will take this advice on board. Intelligence can be taught, common sense has to be learned.

I don't want respect. I want fun, faqs, competition in faqing. What else have I done in the past few years? Yet, people dismay my attempts at tournaments?

But now that I think about it, what else is there to do on these boards? Considering everyone else listen to the "rules."
