Well it's been over a year since the last tourney, but after much anticipation it is now underway. Everyone here should know how these work by now, vote for the better author in each set of matches based on quality of work. There is a rule set as always, posted on the bracket itself, so check that out if you wish (it's all common sense really but some of it needs to be spelled out for the less intelligent users of the board). Agreed, good matchups Dev, most of these had me scratching my head for about 5 minutes.

1 - A I e x (A REALLY hard one to decide. At first I thought Adrenaline easily, as I remember some of Alex's work being a little sloppy, but on another look Adrenaline isn't 100% consistent. Format with both is a bit off IMO, but Alex prevails. Looking at simular FAQs, Alex has a very poor MGS FAQ IMO while Adrenaline has a corker in MGS2; RPGs are about the same and GTA FAQs Alex does better. For FAQ diversity and amount Alex gets points too. To conclude Alex just skins through here, barely - he needs to take care and write better on some of his FAQs like he does on others.)

32 - TestaALT (I feel he puts in the extra bit of detail that really helps; more diverse too)

16 - me frog (Bec's RPG FAQs ie. the FF's are extremely filler tastic, in that she comments on the story. A lot. Big minus points in my book. me frog is better but some FAQs like Mario Kart DD!! is a bit fillerish but overall he's more to the point and is more diverse. me frog is the clear winnar)

48 - Yami Shuryou (overall better, content and format wise; nothing else to add really)

8 - DSimpson (antseezee is really good but Dan has done some amazing stuff in Balders and KOTOR2, including great formatting and ASCII maps. antseezee's format is a bit weak and not as diverse FAQ wise as Dan either).

40 - CMoriarty (more diverse, far better format, schweet ASCII diagrams, and EChang seems to be made up for indepth FAQs from his main walkthroughs. However Colin's Mario Sunshine is one big ball of filler evil)

9 - BSulpher (strawhat was unlucky here, Sulpher is gonna walk straight through 95% of the people in this contest. For it's worth, strawhat has the nicer format overall though)

41 - marshmallow (nicer content and format. Mysticcat is good, but her format is horrid and she has recycled her Resi FAQs across multiple formats, which is nasty. She does have some awesome ASCII map skillz and her Koudelka FAQ is rather good though)

48 - Yami Shuryou (Although I rather like Joni, I find Spacefighter to be slightly ahead here).

Neither (I do not find one author superior or inferior to the other).

40 - CMoriarty (I loved Colin's work back in the day, but it has aged horribly. Still, he gets my vote over EChang's offerings... barely).

Extremely difficult match up, but it edges out very, very slightly towards Adrenaline. They're both great writers and great workers, but Adrenaline is perhaps my favorite writer on the entire site. Her guides are hilarious to read, and worth reading just for the enjoyment, not only if you need help for a game. Her formats are awesome, too... I'm wondering just how she did some of those. A I e x is an awesome writer too, and I've used several of his guides, but there's pretty much no one I'd vote for over Adrenaline SL.

TestaALT is another writer in which I enjoy reading, and his FFIX guide, while it pales in comparison to mine *ahem* is awesome stuff all the same. CWall's a great writer too, although I obviously can't read some of his stuff, it being in Swedish.

Both have a few weaknesses in writing, but I find me frog's to be more fatal. Some of his guides just don't flow quite as well as Bec's, and while both are enjoyable to read, I prefer Karpah's slightly. That's not to mention me frog's guides are full of spelling mistakes occasionally. That being said, they're both great writers all the same, and me frog is a very hard worker.

strawhat is an entertaining writer to read, and VERY underrated in my book... but I still have to give props to Brian Blues here, da master of da NES and all dat yo yo yo.
