| I quit that over 4 months ago, cuz it was too far away and they wanted me to work hours I couldn't do. Besides, the video store pays more and gives me DISCOUNTS. It rocks. And it's a lot closer, too. Just a few things that Steve said that need to be answered by him, and a few things that I found funny. I never claim my opinion is fact, but the opinion is fact in my mind. I'm sorry, but this is so stupid that I don't even need to comment on it. That takes care of the plane ticket. What else do you need??? Seriously, you're going to see HER. Stay at her HOUSE. If you love each other so much, it shouldn't be a problem. You're going to live together one day, anyway, so you might as well get a taste for it. I work at a video store, and therefore I get great deals. See, I do have a "mininum wage job" which i do when I'm not sitting on my ass here. Are you full-time, out of curiosity? You try moving to a different country, it's not as easy as you think. A) you don't have to move there first, which would be the SINGLE DUMBEST THING IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD. You should at least visit to at least hug her first. You're moving around the globe, leaving your son, for something that you have absolutely no clue about besides the fact that your "girlfriend" lives there. Completely illogical... Until then, YOU shut the hell up or "ante up". What does Johnny have to prove? The ball is in YOUR court now. Dunk it. We've did our job. Sounds like we're getting to Steve now... We're getting close to the nerve, Admiral! </pun> And Steve, you're the King of misinformation and lies. Admiral screwed up on the timeline, so instantly everything he says is false? | The fact his entire post was filled with stuff he can't possibly hope to prove is good enough for me. I mean, HE CAN'T EVEN GET THE BASIC FACTS RIGHT. How this translates into him being some sort of psychic who knows all about my real life is beyond me, since he can't even get the message board facts right. No, I work about 28-30 a week. Finally. it would be illogical for me to take a trip out there, come back, then move out there from a money standpoint. If I don't like it there, there's no anchor on my ass, but I have a feeling I won't be coming back. Oh, and I can't stay at her house, as much as I'd like to. (Would make everything easier from a financial standpoint.) We're going to find a place, which costs money believe it or not. If she lives in the country, it would be a LOT easier, and we wouldn't be having this discussion, but she lives across the globe, so a lot of fthings have to be taken care of before I move. Thankfully, I took care of the visa and passport, now I need to save up enough money, and everything will be fine. Oh yeah, congrats on the engagement. Oh, wait. | Understand that I am not taking any sides on this issue, and you all know me not to do that. But in fairness of Steve (in response to Admiral), maybe when it comes to moving overseas, some people may have it more difficult than others. Not saying that Steve is lying OR telling the truth about going to live with Bec, but the way I see it, maybe there is something standing in the way of him actually doing this. Of course, as I have said before I could be totally wrong on the subject, but do realize I am not taking any sides of this (what seems to be) petty and ridiculous matter IMO. --- Just say I'm right or prove me wrong which is it?
