Division 5:

Abstain. These guys are both giants.

Division 6:

23 - Colin Moriarty - At the risk of being hammered by Zoop (although I'd like to poke fun at him for a second and note that you, Adrenaline, and Hulbert would - as I've said lately - vote for the guy with the bad Power Rangers guide over my stuff), I'll toss my vote in for Colin. His format is a bit excessive occasionally, but in the world of Zelda, he cannot be beat. He's a Megaman guru too, but I'll be on equal level with him one of these days. His amount of content cannot be beaten.

Division 7:

30 - Minesweeper - He's an excellent survival horror writer with a nice amount of signal:noise. His format is simple but not too simple.

Division 8:

11 - Mysticcat - mysticcat doesn't have much going in the way of format, but the amount of content more than makes up for it. Shd never appealed to me.

18 - Dallas Scott - The better writer. He's more specific, more detailed, and his format his far, far better.

39 - ZoopSoul - This took some thinking. Colin's a super giant, but Zoop also writes very wonderful guides. In the end, it's Zoop's humor and RECVX guide that did it for me.

Division 7:

30 - Minesweeper - Minesweeper isn't particularly the #1 at anything he does, but he's somewhere up there in terms of pure knowledge and information He strives to make sure his guides are perfect, and his guides are sure to be some of the best yet. Case in point? Grand Theft Auto III/VC and the RE games. One of my favorite writers.

11 - Mysticcat - The queen of knowledge. Back when I first started writing FAQs, Mysticcat wrote at the same time for many of the same games. She was my inspiration to keep me trying harder to write. She'd outpace me, I'd try my best to match her and so forth. It was a great year to write, because Mysticcat was there to constantly challenge me all the way down the track. Her writing is top notch, and her information definitely is accurate and knowledgable. If I had a favorite, she'd be it.

Abstain

39 - ZoopSoul: Zoop's formatting is nicer to look at and separates the information a bit better. Also, his writing is just as detailed and a good bit more humorous.

30 - Minesweeper: Though his format isn't the prettiest, it serves it's purpose quite well. His various survival horror guides are very well-done, and his GTA guides cover everything the games have to offer in meticulous detail.

70 - Shdwrlm3: Though I'll concede that Mysticcat is an amazing writer, Shdw is definitely one of the best. His Sword of Mana FAQ is insanely detailed, and I absolutely love the Zelda Oracle FAQs. His writing style is awesome and his guides are filled with nothing but accurate information.

Trace: Power Rangers ruled, fool! ;D

2 - Andrew Schultz (Not a contest in the world, and I admire Dallas. Andrew writes so well with everything that he does, and can run with the best of them. His guides take me back to 1994 on the AOL Gaming Help boards. If anyone would get stuck, bam! There was a good, non-formatted guide that was easy to browse. Unlike Adrenaline, whom I also love, he does not have the pretty, unique formatting to complement his actual writing, yet he is still one of the best writers on the site. While Dallas is solid everywhere, Andrew just simply provides great maps, and easy to read lines that push him over Dallas, even if just by a little bit.)

39 - ZoopSoul (because I freelance for IGN)

46 - Daniel Engel (Stellar writing, although he isn't one of my favorites, but those AWESOME maps got the vote outta me. Seriously, I woulda strangled myself over LoZ. No FAQ would possibly do. Those maps just helped me so much, and I sincerely thank you, Dan Engel, for rocking my bedroom)

11 - Mysticcat (Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty guides. Excellent information with stellar grammar. Look at DMC2 and BOW, DAMMIT!!! I love Shadow's Wario Ware guide, as that is a tough one to write for, but I'll be damned if I can not allow mysticcat to have my vote. MC just deserves it.)

Division 5:

2 - Andrew Schultz - Both can write amazing maps/pictures, however, Andrew is a long-time writer who makes much better visual effects. He may not have the flashy format, but he has written FAQs for games that need them, something that not many writers can get hooked into.

Division 6:

39 - ZoopSoul - close match, but I edged towards Zoop after seeing awesome different formatting options, and a plethora of straightforward strategies. Colin is a great writer as well, but only certain guides (Zelda) seem to get more attention than the others.

Division 7:

30 - Minesweeper - despite Engel's overwhelming amount of quantity work, I simply have to go with Minesweeper on this one. Nice, clean format (despite a tad cluttered at times), plus a few headers that tend to catch attention. Most of the guides are easy to search for what you need.

Division 8:

11 - Mysticcat - Both have similar formats, but Mystic's is more spaced out to give the user an easier way of finding certain key hints. Not to mention that there's a vast history of thorough guides he's written for.

I just want to say congratulations to Astro on a hard fought match-up, and I wish him luck in the next round against Adrenaline!

Division 5:

2 - Andrew Schultz (Dallas is good, but Andrew is better. Like Engel, Andrew has the ability to write a good FAQ, make great maps, and he just has "it" in his writing).

Division 6:

23 - Colin Moriarty (with much love for both of my IGN freelancing brothas, I will have to go with COlin. Both have a tendnecy to overstate things when they write, both have a tendency to get off-topic and blab around the bush for way too long, and both are a little heavy on large dividers and things [making a file a little larger]. However, where Colin wins [barely] is that he covers a wider range of older games, which is more helpful to me as a player).

Division 7:

30 - Minesweeper (I know I priased DEngel in the Schultz vote, but he can not overcome the beautiful GTA and Smuggler's RUn FAQs that Nathan has done. He covers all of the details nicely, and cares to keep updating/reformatting his FAQ long after he has finished the amin part of writing them).

Division 8:

Neither (I like the work of both authors, so I will refrain fomr voting here as I am not finding anything significantly different in their writing).

Goddamn, this one needs many more votes. Anyway, here are just my two cents (actually my three cents, in this case):

Division 5:

2 - Andrew Schultz
Not only does ASchultz write for THE old school games on this site (I mean, Master System, Commodore 64, and most of all, Apple II), but he is a master of putting ASCII art in his guides. Although Dallas's format is pretty good, I just think that Andrew's is better, because it's a bit easier to read. Not many can match ASchultz's ability to do a good old school guide, or the power that he has of creating ASCII. This is what wins me over about Andrew's work.

Division 6:

39 - ZoopSoul
The fact that Colin has made it this far into the tourney has disgusted me. Sure, some of Colin's work is good, and Colin definitely has the power to make a good guide, even his stuff isn't on GameFAQs (check his IGN work if you don't believe me). But some of his guides have lots of filler. Check a few of his Mega Man guides for an example. Zoop, although I don't find him as great as some people let on, has little to no filler, and his Super Mario 64, F-Zero GX, and RE:CVX guides are GOLD.

Division 7:

ABSTAIN

Division 8:

11 - Mysticcat
As I have stated numerous times before in the past, Mysticcat is one of the top writers on the site. She has some of the best format I have ever seen in a guide. Her Fatal Frame II guide section headers are splendid, and believe me I can judge her work. I have read her Legend of Dragoon guide, and believe me it helped me through the game. Mysticcat's DMC2 guide is also one of the best I have ever read, so Mysticcat's work definitely wins me over here..

2 - Andrew Schultz: Not only has Schultz covered many of the older games that no one else would glance at, he also has excellent walkthroughs and a tiny bit of humor in there. Scott's stuff is good, but nothing I can't find elsewhere.

39 - ZoopSoul: Although I really, REALLY, dug that LttP FAQ, Zoop's humor in all of his guides kept me entertained and informed.

30 - Minesweeper: Much love for those kick ass maps 'n such, but Minesweeper has more solid work in the FAQ area.

70 - Shdwrlm3: I preferred the spaced out paragraphs, which makes it easier for the eyes.

I'm not saying it didn't. I'm referring to that guide that was up awhile back that could have been outdone by a four-year-old.
