42 - Matt Hulbert
vs.
23 - Colin Moriarty

Great MM guides, plus he's a wicked cool d00d. He also helped me with some stuff when I was starting out and he convinced me to send my stuff to IGN.

Division 7:

3 - Psycho Penguin
vs.
67 - Red Scarlet

Dunno...

94 - Cyril
vs.
30 - Minesweeper

AWESOME GTA guides, he obviously knows what he's talking about. He's also a perfectionist, going back and editing his GTA guides to make them better even after he played them to death? That's dedication.

14 - Stinger 3:16
vs.
51 - MetroidMoo

Never read them..

46 - Daniel Engel
vs.
19 - Kasey Chang

Never read them...

Division 6 Rematch:

42 - Matt Hulbert
vs.
23 - Colin Moriarty

No Vote.

Division 7:

3 - Psycho Penguin
vs.
67 - Red Scarlet

No Vote.

94 - Cyril
vs.
30 - Minesweeper

Minesweeper - good stuff, good format.

14 - Stinger 3:16
vs.
51 - MetroidMoo

MetroidMoo - Stinger has some filler problems as I recall, and Metroids work speaks for itself.

46 - Daniel Engel
vs.
19 - Kasey Chang

Daniel Engel - good detail, good enough format.

23 - Colin Moriarty - same reasons as yesterday. Colin Moriarty writes better, formats better and gives better detail. Hulbert's alright I suppose.

Division 7:

3 - Psycho Penguin - a great, standardized writer. One of the better ones around.

30 - Minesweeper - one of my favorite authors. The best format, writing style and detail in most FAQs.

51 - MetroidMoo - close, but MetroidMoo has a better format and I like his style better.

19 - Kasey Chang - an underrated writer with style and substance.

Time to get killed by Cow.

42 - Matt Hulbert (same reasons as before. have any of you even read Moriarty's MM stuff? It was bad. Like bad-bad. No offense, as I gots much love from my IGN pah-nah, but seriously, the original MM FAQ was just... puke-alicious.)
Abstain
30 - Minesweeper (quality stuff, although somewhat bland. Excellent RECVX guide)
51 - MetroidMoo (Moo = Cool because he actually knows the Power Battle stuff exists. And he's one of the few authors who I could tell you who it was just by looking at their format. Cool stuff.)
46 - Daniel Engel (Thank you sooooo much for the LoZ map. I know it's not an FAQ, but those charts for items and the dungeons are helping me so much. Very quality stuff dude, I'm in love with it.)

Division 6 Rematch:

42 - Matt Hulbert
vs.
23 - Colin Moriarty

I go with my reasonings from the previous topic.

Division 7:

3 - Psycho Penguin
vs.
67 - Red Scarlet

Steve's work is great! Heavily detailed god formatting, what more could you want? Red Scarlets work is good but Steve is one of the best writers on the site, No Contest.

94 - Cyril
vs.ABSTAIN
30 - Minesweeper

I haven't read any of these authors work previous work, just browsing over it just now would not have be adaquete time to pick a winner.

14 - Stinger 3:16
vs.
51 - MetroidMoo

I've always been a fan of MetroidMoo's work. Good detail is used and a nice and simple layout is implemented throught all of his FAQs. Stinge 3:16 also does great work but Metroid Moo wins it in my eyes.

46 - Daniel Engel
vs.
19 - Kasey Chang

Basically all that is in this battle is how I love Engel's simplicity. His formatting is nice and simple and his content is only as detailed as it needs to be.

Division 6 Rematch:

23 - Colin Moriarty - made a slight mistake yesterday. Most of Matt's guides are finished, however, I was looking at the circles (in which case he had a few empties, and half-circles, but some were actually final version). Still, I can't pass up Colin's guides. The format is slightly better, and varied basis of games.

Division 7:

3 - Psycho Penguin - without a doubt. Supportive amigo on the site who dedicates plenty of time in both respective AND non-respective ways. May not be one of the best writers, but content wise, he has done so much in terms of depth.

94 - Cyril - I was going to give Minesweeper the vote on this one, but something caught my eye. One person made absolutely amazing RPG walkthroughs, while another made amazing non-RPGs walkthroughs. Sure, many people write for RPG games, but only a few can make them look appealing, and that's where Cyril's guides came in. Great stuff that should get more viewing time.

14 - Stinger 3:16 - Metroid had FAQs that were fairly empty, contest wise. Stinger has written both detailed guides, and short move lists which is a great combination of FAQ talents.

46 - Daniel Engel - He may just be the "image guy", but I still feel that DEngel plays an important part in helping people out on a daily basis. Images are very helpful, especially for puzzle and tile games which he has created basic layouts for. KChan has written numerous guides for the PC system, but I felt they just weren't as helpful.

Division 6 Rematch:

23 - Colin Moriarty - For all the disagreements he and I have had, this guy is without a doubt one of the best writers on the site. His format is good, he gives incredible detail, and he leaves room for people to have laughs off his guides too (remembering a specific incident with Steve and Robot Masters' favorite shampoos). While I dislike the involvement of current events in some of his guides, he's still an awesome writer.

Division 7:

3 - Psycho Penguin
vs.
67 - Red Scarlet

They're equally matched in my mind.

30 - Minesweeper - Cyril's good, but Minesweeper is better. He knows what he's good at (survival-horror and GTA-type games) and sticks with those types of games for the most part. While having a lack of a line break after section dividers has always been a pet peeve of mine, he more than makes up for that with the sheer content and concise-ness of his guides.

51 - MetroidMoo - While I'm a bit leery about voting for MM (I'm afraid he's going to accomplish my dream before I do!), I stand by it. His format is simple. He doesn't overdo the content but doesn't leave much to be desired.

46 - Daniel Engel - This guy is freakin' awesome with maps. The guides that he does have sweet format and a nice amount of content. He's also got my respect as a writer for writing for some 'kiddy' games (i.e., Fisher Price: Firehouse Rescue, Mary-Kate and Ashley, etc.). I know how hard that can be.

Abstain.

Abstain.

94 - Cyril: This was almost an abstain as well, but my vote goes to Cyril because I like her format a little better. She is also a great writer as well.

51 - MetroidMoo: MM is a little more detailed.

46 - Daniel Engel: Detailed enough, I guess, plus I like his format a lot better.

42 - Matt Hulbert: I compared two FAQs for games I should finish and Matt's more simple approach does the job better.
3 - Psycho Penguin: Better format, indepth, more than one FAQ of creative talent.
30 - Minesweeper: Better writing
51 - MetroidMoo: Better format
46 - Daniel Engel: Better format

Division 6 Rematch:
42 - Matt Hulbert - I just love that Lunar 2 guide. And some of those sports ones too. Colin is great, but that Lunar 2 guide swings it.

Division 7:
3 - Psycho Penguin - Final Fantasies. Those guides are just sooo good.
30 - Minesweeper - Have you read those GTA guides? Also that GT3 tuning guide is pretty snazzy too.
ABSTAIN
19 - Kasey Chang - All those PC strategy guides. All good. Even monopoly. Whoda thunk it, eh?

Division 6 Rematch:

23 - Colin Moriarty - I'm still going to have to go with him because of his better format and information for the games he writes.

Division 7:

3 - Psycho Penguin - Very well done FAQs with very nice information and format, for RPGs, but still very good.

30 - Minesweeper - Very precise and a work-a-holic, with great information.

No vote...

46 - Daniel Engel - Although Chang is good, Engel provides such good information in excellent formatting.
