Division 8 Rematch:
ABSTAIN (I don't know either author's work well enough)
Division 1 Matches:
1 - Devin Morgan - I have used his Breath of Fire guide, and was impressed by the quality, particularly the concise way in which the information was presented - no beating about the bush - and the "no frills" approach to the layout (I prefer this to overly intricate formats).
32 - Myke - His layout is so simple it's virtually non-existent, yet his guides are very easy to follow and look neat despite the lack of pretty headers and the like. The walkthroughs are also well-written and easy to follow.
16 - Wolf Feather - A master at driving guides, I found his tips to be particularly helpful, and the extensive coverage of every nook and cranny of each game he covers to be a great aid in my endeavors to finish games at 100%. --- Super Nova | FAQs: 15 - 1264KB The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. - Alucard |

22 - Kayama - Simply more in-depth translations and a great addition to GameFAQs.
Division 1 Matches:
1 - Devin Morgan - While Fox may have written excellent guides for excellent games, Devin has simply done more in the past and for the site, period!
32 - Myke - The overall quality was simply better, especially when you compare between their GTA guides. Kudos to Myke on this one.
16 - Wolf Feather - As much as I'd love to give Kain my vote on this one, Devin's right. Many FAQ writers on the site simply refuse to write for racing games because of their complicities. It's hard to describe first hand experiences that require skills, rather than actual linear strategies. Wolf has done what the few dare not.

I'm another that has done a few for racing games but as of right now only NASCAR.

Seriously Psycho Penguin, give your anti-Devin crusade up.
Touche. In case you haven't noticed Steve, for someone two years younger than you, Devin is far more mature. He voted for you in the last round, based on quality. Yet you can't extend to him some courtesy? (No, this isn't in reference to you not voting for him, just all the crap you constantly stuff in his face). You think you are cooler than the rest of us because "you _know_ guide writing isn't going to get you anywhere in life", yet you persist in this pathetic little vendetta of yours?
As much as it may pain you to know, the real world can suck sometimes, and their are people that you will be forced to see day in and day out that you flat out do not like. Are you going to insult them and annoy them over and over? Because if you do, you won't be keeping jobs for too long. |

I only know of two of these contributors so.. 1. Yeah, Fox's FAQS make me LMAO, especially in his star wars roge squadron 2 FAQ. Speed? My grandmother can WALK faster! Defense? An hatched egg has better defense. Power? Again, my grandmother can do better in her sleep. but Devin Morgans FAQS were more helpful, I bet I could not beet Zelda LTTP without his FAQ (and CMoriaty).

I voted for Devin last round. I just happen to like Fox's work better. Am I supposed to vote for someone that I don't think is better just out of "courtesy"? Haha.
And oh yeah, if you haven't noticed, this isn't the "real world". I'm sure this is another example of you "owning" me with incomprehensible meaningless ramble that means nothing to the situation, though. --- [ #3 ] No more games, I'm gonna change what you call rage. <Proud Fiance of Karpah> |
