Censor bypass there, your post will be moderated if you don't delete it.
You can't say the name of the site because of an issue that occured in the past.
To answer the question, the admin of the site is known to be a thief, stealing contributors' guides without any permission, changing the authors' information, etc.

gameplayworld seems like a new site, so there's not much to go by. I
gave them my FAQs just to help them out. So far, nothing wrong.

Question. (edited for spelling <__<)
Should I have all the legal notes and stuff at the beginning or near the ending of the document? Does it make a difference?
Ive seen ones, like in the example in the second post, that they'll read that first so they must agree to it before read on.
I was just wondering whats the best way to use this stuff.

It's valid either way (and in fact, it's not even mandatory for your
work to be legally protected). I recommend it being on top, but it
follows from that that it should be brief. Anything in your FAQ that
comes before the actual FAQ itself should be brief, lest your reader
lose interest before he even started (and/or gets annoyed having to
scroll so much).

Well, Ive got a nice one in the works being put in my current project,
but its a bit long, so I stuck it on the bottom. I think it fits there
the best.

So... if you haven't given AOL permission to use your FAQ but it's up
in their games area, is there anything that can be done about it? Or
are they just on the good list because they don't modify all the faqs
they steal?

AOL gets GameFAQs's FAQs. There's an option in contributor central to not share your stuff with affiliates, but you can't enter contribution contests if you do it.

damn, 1up.com had my guide on their site without my permission, and
then emails me asking me if they can use my guide. They even took my
author and legal info off. But I think it was one of their users who
posted it, not the actual site, and they removed it immediately when I
pointed it out and then asked me to reconsider my position. So I'm
kinda in the same boat - don't know about 1up.com

1up.com is a huge site. I've emailed the owner of the site a few times
and we sort of became good buddies at the time (he probably doesn't
remember me by now.) They advertise all the time in EGM and just
recently put up a FAQs section to their site. The owner/operators can
be trusted 100% but I don't know about their users. Some of them seem
bad to me, but that's no reason to let 1up host your guides. I let them
host all of my guides. Also, I'm not sure if it was listed, but honest
gamers is another great site for submitting FAQs to. There's a link to
register in my quote, just click on my name and go to that link.

What really burns my cannoli is that he edits the guides to include his site in the permissions section.
Yeah, I just recently discovered him editing my FAQs which I gave him permission to use. He took out every mention of the word "GameFAQs" throughout the FAQs. And in the section where I had all the sites listed he put his site at the top of the list like they were listed in some order of importance.
I sent him an email to change the FAQs if he ever wanted to use my FAQs again, and he did change it for my Advent Rising FAQ, but none of the others, so he's not getting any more of mine.

About some "legal" actions against CC (for as far as they got -_-):
- He asked permission; and I gave it him (bad idea; HTML format etc, very annoying).
- Rougly three months later, I send him a mail to remove my FAQs ASAP. No response.
- I send another mail two days later, stating: remove them within 24 hours before actions will be taken. No response within 22 hours.
- I send the same kind of mail, stating I want to have them off in 2 hours. Response....
- He said something like 'hey here in germany we have weekend too' etc.
- I (to be polite as possible) send back: 'I was sorry for being to fast, thank you for removing'.
- One month later, they're still on.
Can somebody hack him -_-?
