Pyramid Head rapes demons. Literally. Demons, no less. Bowser might have did the nasty with Princess Peach, but you can't rape the willing, hence why Bowser cannot be as fierce as Pyramid Head.

Pyramid Head = Interesting, menacing character, definately one of the scariest video game characters in history, and with a surprisingly deep background story.

Bowser = Nintendo character.

I rest my case. Nintendo might make entertaining games, but they can't seem to make even one vaugely interesting character.

SH2 is just as good as SH (although SH is the best). It's pretty much like SH only with a different story.

Bowser was completely badass at the end of Mario 3. Scared the crap out of me every time. Sure he never talks but a lot of protagonists don't either.

Don't let those Mario Tennis and Smash Bros. games cloud your judgement. Bowser is the true villain here, not some guy who rapes demons. That's not a villain, that's a sexual predator who should be in jail... err, Hell.

By the time you finish reading this, three more strategy games will be released for PC.

Pyramid Head skewers people. He is not a person. He is a being, of sorts. Bowser is a turtle. In complete 100% honesty, they get no scarier than PH. When you happen to see a PH out of nowhere, you have to pause and wait until you stop trembling, no joke.

Are the Pyramid Heads the best villains in history? Probably not, as guys like Liquid Snake, Ocelot, Kefka, and even Sephiroth (yes, he is a highly valid although highly overrated villain) are much more badass than a Pyramid Head, but none have the same hold around your neck that PH does when you see him.

But more of a badass than Bowser?

Does Bowser skewer people? No, he plays ****ing BASEBALL and GOLF with them.

I rest my case. Although we all know that Darth Vader is the baddest villain ever.

Pyramid Head is sort of overtly evil though. I would rather cast my vote for someone like Kefka, who approached the whole being evil thing from a different angle. Books and games and movies have shown us plenty of evil stuff in the past; now it's time to start acknowledging villains who make us feel dynamically emotional about them and who undergo their own emotional changes over time.

Well, ideally.

Anyhow, for pure evil junk your average metal head could come up with something worse than Pyramid Head (rapes demons, sweats maggots and drinks brains for instance?)

Eff scary. Bowser rocks, especially as his attitude has been in the more recent games. It's like the dumbass badass style. It's incredibly awesome. Pyramid Head is just...a pyramid head. Yipee.
